Is anyone using netpbm for resizing, etc. in this environment?

Windows XP Pro
Apache 2.2.3
php 5.2.0
png files

I decided to try it today, since something goofy (system-wise) was happening with ImageMagick. It appears to work, but the resulting files were bad.

i'm not sure what you mean by using netpbm for resizing... it is/was my understanding that netpbm is a graphic format like jpg, gif, and png... is this incorrect thinking?

Netpbm should produce decent results, but the sharpening is a bit odd. You can get Windows binaries from http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/netpbm.htm
