I have downloaded some actions and I can't seem to get them to appear in the actions tab.

I did a search for *.atn and copied them to the same folder that the standard ones in CS are in.

Is there a quick answer for this.

Thanks

Once the actions file is in the Actions folder on disk, then go to the Actions tab (in PS) and select the little arrow (on the right at the top) and select "Load Actions...", browse for your new action and voila.

Hi,
If you have copied the actions to the folder that the other actions are stored , launch Photoshop and on the actions menu there is a sideways arrow that will open the actions options menu about half way down you will see "load" , click it and go to the actions you want to use . The actions will now become available fo use ...
Hope this is the answer to what you are asking
