Still no sun and again high ISO and low shutter so these are not what they could be. But the sun has to come out one day and then I will prove to you that I can get these right :)

This is a huge crop from original. They were 200 feet above the lake when they all took flight to move... well... about twice as far from the shore hehe :)

Then on ocasion I did have some fly-byes. The are just cropped for composition.

For such a HUGE crop Tom, it's a a cracking good shot the first one. I like it a lot, good series , well done.

Great work Tom, difficult enough to get near ONE Merganser where I hang out let alone a flock!! AND in the air - very well done Tom - (we all know too well about adverse conditions up here ;) )

Wow, I've never seen so many Mergansers at once.....we often have four or five at our cottage but thats all. Great series and the first one is excellent.
