Help me set up my 10d

I want to use ONLY the center focus point. I want the 10d to focus when I push half way down on the shutter release, hold the focus and fire ONLY when I push all the way down. How can I set the custom set up to do this?

I have read the manual but am still a little confused. Can some one give me step by step help?

The 10D is set up to focus upon half-depressing the shutter button, so your set.

To use the center focus point, push the upper right button on the back of the camera, then rotate the large thumb wheel and/or the wheel near the shutter button to select your desired focus point.

Custom function 7 will also allow you to choose the focus point you want and action it by pressing the Assist button.

Note that you have to be in a Program mode (P, Av, Tv or M) to do the above...it won't work if you're shooting fully Automatic.
