Rob.Thats the second game I've seen in the past month where a girls has worn glasses (the other was in goal!!!) and not been told to take them off. Although, typically, one of our girls was ordered off the pitch last week and told to remove her tongue stud.

Are the offenses being commited on the same girl, in yellow? Truly amazing as you say. Great capture shots of the events!

Yes, they're both on the same girl. Towards the end of the second half she ran down the wing and a girl deliberately tripped her from behind. She got up and shoved the offender to the floor (although she told me after that she'd unclenched her fists and refrained from smacking her). She wasn't carded by the ref but walked off and asked to be substituted because she would've hit out had she played on.

They other players weren't ever likely to get into a situation where they risked swallowing their glasses though were they?!? ;) ;)

They aren't your every day spectacles though are they.

The only risk is the glasses getting broken i'd suggest.

Clearly the lady in yellow (the captain I assume from the armband) is the Robben-a-like and dives at the slightest contact! ;)

I see the last three different than you do. I see the yellow player pulling the orange player down with her.

Greats shots.

LOL, thinking the same thing.

I don't think a penalty can be awarded in the second incident. They've both clearly locked their arms together - one's just as much to blame as the other, I think.

Great shots of the action, BTW.

You have a point, i didn't see that at first viewing.
I was probably biased due to the thread title :)
Nice pics, going to have to find myself a football match one day and try myself
