I just received a $5 off coupon in the mail from my local photography shop for the Blue Crane Digital How to DVD's. I was wondering if any of you had experienced these DVD's and would reccomend them, or if they are just a waste of time. Thanks.

I bought a DVD when I first purchase my 20D, it was called "Canon 20D Made Easy". It was composed of two DVDs. There was usefull information, but the presentation of ameuteurish. It discussed options which the 20D did not have. Sorry, I don't have experience with the "Blue Crane" DVD, but I would ask for a money back policy, if you find the information of no use.

I have the DVD for the 350D and it taught me a lot of great tips for everyday use. Good thing about it is that it gives you a visual instead of just reading threads on a forum. But don't get me wrong, I've found a lot of great info on this forum. I'd recommend this DVD for anybody who's just getting into the DSLR scene. As a matter of fact, watch it every now and then just to see if I can do anything to improve my shooting.
