I've a new 24-70mm 2.8/f L that I've been shooting with.

I think it's tack sharp at 2.8f, but I was curious. Is there a setting that is considered this len's "sweet spot"?

For most lenses its 2-3 steps down. No personal experience with the 24-70/2.8 though. The Tamron 28-75 is best at f/8 for sure....

In my experience 2.8 lenses are usually sharpest at 5.6.
