1D now or wait?

I bought a drebel in december and now have used it for 2 months and want a faster camera for some sports I am going to do. I am not in a big hurry but found a D1 today for $2,900 and loved it esp with the 1.3 crop. any thoughts on should i wait for the new D1 but it will be at least 4K. I have been told the image quality is better on the D1 with larger ccd's then my drebel. I like the rebel, but want something with more girth.

Th e 1D is an awesome machine, but a totally different beast than the Drebel. You would not be dissapointed for sports. You could get a good deal and be in a whole different league than a Drebel.
