I still have my Canon film camera, and I still have about twenty rolls of Velvia in the refrigerator. As time goes by, I shoot more and more digitally, but I never know when I might stumble upon the perfect nature scene that can only be appreciated when viewed on a Velvia (transparency) slide.
By the way, lately more groups have switched from (transparency) slide shows to digital slide shows, so they have switched from Carousel projectors to digital LCD projectors. In my opinion, digital LCD projectors don't begin to compare to a Carousel projector. Too many digital slide show creators dump their resolution down to minimize file size, and they end up with a blurry or pixelated image on the screen.
So, in that respect, I will keep my old Carousel until the digital projectors get decent in resolution, contrast, and price.

I gave my Elan IIe to my niece who is in art school and promise myself to use my first Canon, an EOS 630 (1989), at least 1 weekend a year for a truly wide angle shot or for its 5 fps shooting speed. I still have an old Minolta SLR tucked away safely with the family heirlooms. Memories are indeed priceless. 8)

I'm planning on hanging onto my film cameras. I don't shoot much in the way of 35mm film anymore but I still take out my Pentax 6X7, Mamiya RB67 ProS when I really want top notch quality and I know that I am going big on the print size. Still pretty tough to beat these.

Still have, and plan on keeping both my Rebel 2000 and Elan II.

I sold my film equipment to help pay for the 10D. I m not looking back! I have never had the potographic freedom I now have at such low cost overall. No film. no processing, no printing, no enlarging, no trips to the lab only to throw away most of every roll of film. I couldn't carry the film to take the number of shots I now have in the camera. Quality? I cannot tell the difference in what I am doing. My biggest print is normally 8X10. I lOVE digital!!!! My last film camera and lens cost over half the cost of the 10D and had less function and eas of use. Not to count all of the above.
So much to do and so little time to do it!

I have approximately twenty Pentax screw mounts and early K mounts. I don't know why except I just love the look and feel of those things. I actually have a couple brand new K-1000's that have never been used and are still in their original packaging.
The fact is, if I ever hae to shoot film, I'll probably just buy an Elan, or something equivalent. Once you've gotten used to auto-focus, and auto-metering, it's hard to go back.

Only film camera left is a Canon WP-1 that I keep in one of the tackle boxes. Have had it for years and abused the heck out of it. Still works and shoots great.

I have & still use two film bodies & most likely won't ever get rid of them. Digital cannot completely copy all of film work yet. It's getting closer but it's still lacking. My Ftb body is used for Litho, B&W & color infrared films. I use my ElanII as backup and for when I want to shoot E6 or B&W film. Plus I still enjoy doing darkroom work it helps me with my general photography pratices.

I still have 2, yes 2, 35mm cameras. They are the Canon EOS 50E QD and Canon T90. The EOS 50E I have yet to try having some fun w/ L glass on it. I might have to burn a roll for giggles. I might actually be impressed, not that it may outdo digital, but as a something to do. I will say that I like the way the 10D like L glass/Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX glass. I can't wait to use the Sigma one, but that will be a month off. I am waiting and it is frustrating!!! There is nothing wrong with the 10D or the lens itself, though. I am the weakest link here.

I just sold my EOS 1N RS body. I used the money to get my 70-200 f/4 L. This lens has brought back the joy of photography, so no regrets here.
I debated for so long and felt so compelled to keep it, but not having touched it for a year or two, it was obvious I wasn't going to be using it any time soon. :)

I still have mine. I just can't bring myself to get rid of them. For grins, if you have been shooting the 10D or D60 for a while...pull out your older cameras and give them a whirl. I did this with my A2E and I thought my vision was going out. I did not realize how much mirror shake it caused when shooting countinuosly.. I still love the sound of film whirling through it. Ahhh, take me back... Where is my John Denver 8 track?? Anyone seen it?

I still have a 1v HS and use it more than my digital P&S. I may sell it when I am trying to put the money together for the MKII.

Still have the Elan II, which is a good backup to the 10D. I also have an older FT, my first SLR. It carries family value, as my dad was the previous owner. I have an Olympus P&S 35 mm that I got a great deal of service out of. And finally, I have an old Argus 35 mm that was also my dad's prior to his getting the FT. All of them still work, though the Elan and the FT are the only ones likely to see service any time soon.

I have a EOS 3 that I used just a few months ago... I had half a roll of film in it from the year before that I wanted to finish up. But then I stuck another roll in and shot half of it. So now I've got to use it again this year to finish it up.
I also have a Rebel G that I've not used in a long time but haven't gotten rid of since you can't get much for them used. And who knows, it might be a good backup to the backup that is a backup to my 10D. :D
I also have 2 4x5 cameras that I keep thinking about getting out again, but never seem to. I still have a lot of film for them as well as some ready loads.
Actually, I'd like to use some of my L lenses on the EOS 3 just to see how good it would be compared to the non-L lenses I had with it when I used it all the time. The biggest thing holding me back from using it more is getting the film developed and scanned into digital files. Good scans either cost a bunch or you get low resolution scans that you can't do much with. I'm just too spoiled downloading my CF card into my computer.

I've got an old EOS 650. This thing is basically a point and shoot.. I keep it as a backup..
It's also nice to plug the 15-30mm Sigma on when I *really* want wide angle.. There's a major difference using a wide angle lens on a full frame camera vs the 1.6 crop of the 10D/Rebel

Gave my daughter the Rebel 2000 to get her something to work with when she is scrapbooking. I still have a 30 year old Canon FtB, but batteries for the light meter are tough to come by. Still love that solid, metal, non-electronic, manual focus everything. Don't use it much, but it's there if I need it. Like to use it to shoot B&W.

I still have my EOS 30 (which is the non-US name of the Elan 7E). I haven't used it since I got my 10D in November. But now I just bought the Canon EF 17-40 f/4L lens and I'd like to try it on the EOS 30, to see how wide 17mm really is. :o
