Thanks to all the great advice I have picked up from this forum, I took the plunge and cleaned my Canon 10D sensor. I used the method by Nicholas R. Here is the before and after shots. There are still a couple of small ones I need to get but not bad for the first try?

Good job! You really had a severe case! It is interesting to see how much this varies from user to user.

Was that dust that was remaining after you'd blown off the sensor like the manual suggests?

Holy sandstorms! How'd you manage to get that much dust in your 10D in the first place?

I did not try to use a blower on the sensor. I thought that I had read somewhere that it just moves the dust around. I guess that the dust is from changing lenses, which I seem to do a lot. The spots don't really seem to show up on the photos much. I had a couple that I was getting tired of cloning out, so I thought I would try the cleaning. The bottom line is that it was not as bad as I had thought it would be.
