I'm new to all this so I don't no what's good or bad but to me that's a very good shot love the colour, and the lights in the background from the town. And to I was wondering how you got this shot without cars passing. Was there not any traffic on the bridge? Any way very good photo. 8)

I like the lighting and the exposure - it looks like the sort of thing that could be used as an ad for the car!

I just wonder why you photographed the back? I suspect that I am missing some subtle point that you want to get across?

The door isn't open, so the car is not abandonded here.

Front end on would have said 'look at this great car, its dynamic and sexy!'

It just looks kinda stuck, nose in to the rail and not moving????

Sorry, its probably just me but I don't 'get it'

You know, when a town has a place with a nice view people go there with their gf's and bf's and sit in their car enjoy the night and the view. I just had something like that in my mind, since the tower you see is the "peace tower" of Canada's Parliment, by adding that to the picture I thought it would add the element that the city is Ottawa. Imagine if the car looked towards me, would the city that is in the backround play the same role? I thought that if the car is looking there people would look at the car then look at the city lights it is pointing at

All around an interesting shot, but it doesn't gravitate...

I didn't register the peace tower in the back ground until you mentioned it. To fit the story though the shot should be reshot. Park the car in the section of bridge without bright lights, and expose for the tower (and focus on the tower) Also park the car so it has a clear view (it looks like they are looking between girders)...

Also there is also way to much going on in the picture. Try cropping the top, bottom and right of the image. By cropping out some of the car, you can tell the viewers not to bother inspecting the car. Do the crop and the picture is much stronger (but still weakened by the out of focus view point.)

To convey the story, what the folks would looking at is what the viewer should look at first, the car and bridge should be secondary.

As it is now, the car is focal point and the exposure and focus is great for that.
