Thought B/W would change the mood of the pic, comments please.

Nice shot, good composition - but Thunderbirds is unsharp....
thats bad.....

I like the composition, the lines, the mood and the tonality. I suspect that the B&W looks better than the original - unless we're looking at a classic red Thunderbird. Then I'd be interested in seeing the original too. The B&W also works well with what I assume to be a vintage T-bird.
The entire image is very soft and defocused. I think that adds to the total effect. I don't think Thunderbird necessarily needs to be tack sharp since it would be out of character with the rest of the image. If, however, you deliberately edited the image to create a soft/defocused appearance, then you might have spared the Thunderbird logo a bit. It's the same issue with portraiture: usually you try to preserve sharpness in key image elements - eyes, eyebrows, lips, etc. - while softening skin.
The strongest image element is the T-bird logo - and it sits right in the middle of the composition. You might consider putting it off center and let the lines of the shot draw your eye to it.

thats what i am saying the Thunderbird (how you say the logo.....) is unsharp - and that is one of the most important eyecatcher....
