Beautifull shot, that water is like glass.

I wonder how it would look flipped horizontally?

Ha...who has the magic wand now eh ?

Nice framing,i like the mirrored seperation of the sky from the ground, the only thing that gives it in,is the grass.

I wonder if you could bring more detail out of the sky though.

Woops! Didn't realize that title was used only a week ago. Hope I didn't cause confusion!

Hey - there could be more than one magic wand, you know! ;)

Agreed. That patch of reeds to the right spoils the mirror effect to a degree but I wanted the nearer clump with its perfect reflection. Tripod stances close to the water's edge were very limited - in fact I was slowly sinking as I took this.

I am a total beginner at B&W conversions but I knocked up this in CS2's channel mixer :

I think a little bit of contrast would go a long way here.. But, I do like it as a black and white..

Please have a go. I know nothing of B&W conversions (except a rushed glance at Ch 7 in Scott Kelby's book this evening! ;) ). Teach me!
BTW I also deny all knowledge of magic wands (especially the stolen kind) .

Wonderful reflection, I like the black & white version best.
