I went along on a university trip to London today, and I tried to capture a lot of different parts. It's been a long time since I was last here, but here are some of my favourites of the trip.

London!
Quite pleased with this, as it shows a lot of what you associate London with.

London Eye
It's a really wonderful bit of construction, and so much bigger than it looks in photos!

Graffiti artist
Under this bridge is a huge amount of graffiti, and I managed to grab a shot with a guy actually painting something.

A silhouette!
It was a boring apartment block, but the clouds in this shot made it much more attractive.

Riverside Lamp-post
I irritated a huge amount of people by taking about 20 photos of this to make sure it came out right. ;)

Big Ben
And his nearby neighbour, Eye.

Horniman
Gotta love Horniman's! (taken at f/1.8, ISO 1600, without flash, inside a museum to try and get it well lit. Their lighting in there was awful!)

All EXIF data is available on my Flickr. All outdoor shots taken with a circular polariser (it was a really overcast and dull day).
Any comments and critiscisms are welcome - but I hope you enjoy the photos.

Bah, it seems my first pic has some aberration problems, which is a shame. Ah well, didn't expect an out-of-this-world landscape shot from the kit lens. :D

The large ferris wheel is the London Eye, it's an absolutely massive wheel where you can view pretty much the whole of London. :D

As much as I'd have loved to go up closer, I hadn't been to London in years and was a bit apprehensive. It turns out that that area was much safer than I thought, so next time I'm down there I may try talking to some of those guys. :)

Nice shots. The real challenge to to take shots w/o clouds!
