ok... i'm batch processing a total of just over 1000 linear files from a recent shoot...
i'm using the latest linear action, not sure of the number though...
the results i see so far are extremely undersatureated...
does anyone have a "catch-all" setting to pump up saturation safely... i doubt that i'll be able to figure out individual settings for all the pics in this batch job... i mean 1k of pics is a whole lot, and i absolutely need to get this done by end of business day today, so i can burn and bring the converted tiffs (about 30 cd's worth) to a client...
btw... damn this action is slow... i'm running the 100-200 chooser hq since about 6pm last night... it's at about 70% done, and with any luck it should finish by noon... my machine is no slouch either, a decent Athlon 1.4 on a fast Soyo dragon board with 1gig of ram and a fast ata/100 ibm 7200rpm drive...
this is probably the biggest reason why i really need the "catch-all" setting today... i'll still around 3 hours just to burn the cds...
ps... i forgot to mention, the images are wedding pics... all outdoor, all iso 100-200... i need to find something that will strike a balance between the good bright colors and natural skin tones...
