Hi everyone,

I am having an information or worse software list overload. I am looking for a software that can help me correct my pics. Example of pics taken:

... so you can see why I need sw to help do some touch up before I send them for printing

Features like noise reduction, color correction, red-eye reduction etc. I am not a graphics guy.. so something that is easy/simple but can handle a lot of pictures (or do I have to do each pic one at a time)

I have heard sw that has camera profiles to automate things.. are those good?

The SW I have been referred to.. (here is why I am sooo confused)

Photoshop/Elements
DCE
IfranView
ACDSee
NeatImage
PhotoMiester
SharpRaw
PhotoBox
NoiseNinja
Scott Pro PhotoStudio
SilverFast DCPro

HELP someone who is clueless in this field/arena

TIA,
CJ

Of that whole list,. the only one I recognize as a full function photo editing tool is Photohsop Elments.

So I would recomend you start with that. It is a great peice of sftware for the price (free with some cameras or about $99.00)

It can do most of what you mention,. then you can branch out and try more stuff as you get familiar.

So Ignore the rest for now,. and just concentrate on the real photoeditor..

I have to agree with CDS, start out using Photoshop/Elements 2 and go from there it's only $100.00 and it will get you prepared for the big program if ever need one day. Always remember Quality in Quality out and it will save alot of time editing / correcting photos.
