(This is Part 2 of the following thread :

Hi All,

The following are some night shots from my Vegas Trip some days back (some people might remember it as I had sought help for shooting at night). I have been a bit busy with my work (a programmer's life is never easy ) so got delayed in uploading these ---John (Rudgej).
All these were shot handheld (standing or leaning against any available support)as I was not having a tripod at that time, so guys don't skin me to the bone ;). Still all our comments are more than welcome as ever :D.

Regards,
Chander

Love the shot of the ceiling in the Bellagio in #3. I took a couple of shots of that myself when I was over there this year.

For handheld night shots i would say they are not bad at all,the only thing i noticed though is,that the S3 has the tendancy to overexposse a bit, they could all do with a touch of underexpossure.

Thanks for the comment...Even I thought so but a tripod gives u a lot of flexibility rather than trying to be a perfect statue for 2 secs ;) .

Thanks for the valuabe comment Dimitri....Well it isn't the tendency of the S3; it was mine :(. Infact the digital viewfinder of the S3 makes u believe that u have got the right exposure when u are overexposing . I came to know this when I saw the pics on my laptop !!! But next time I will certainly try to get it right!!! Moreover I have a sturdy tripod now :D.

Nice shots. I have a similar rig. Did you PP the shots. They are REALLY sharp.

My favourite shot here is definitely #3. I like the bright colours and patterns of the false flowers.
