These are made with Canon G5, 100 ISO, f 2.5, internal flash bounced to ceiling with a mirror, flash +2

hmmm... I guess if the barolo is milky white like in the second picture, he isn't good anymore...

Nice composition, but too much blur for my taste...

and unfortunately the paper is ripped just over the 'O'
Ok... the picture suggests the age of the wine, but the when the paper is ripped, it's not age, but bad handling...

Well I am no expert at critiquing still life images. I do like the 3rd shot best. Exposure and DOF look fine to me. I wondered a bit about the reflection of the glass as my eye gets drawn to these light areas. The frame could extend more at the botom to give the yellow pepper morte rome to breath.
