Nice shots. I too prefer the second one, it offers a better view.

I actually like the first one. If you crop the photo to just under her elbows, you are drawn into her eyes (which are quite beautiful as I am sure you are well aware of).
The lighting is stunning too. Nice job

Beautiful! Just trying to learn as much as I can: You said you used 420EX flash? I have the same flash, but did you point straight at her and just use available daylight? Any reflectors invovled?

Yes, I was a nervous wreck so I just slapped it on the hotshoe and fired away. My vagabond unit and strobes were just too much. maybe next time.

great shots and very pretty model, I only wish she look more comfortable with her expresions, it's the only thing that bothers me. Otherwise these are wonderful :)
