Processing Raw in PS CS?

When I try and open an image in PS CS that is raw I can not see all of the options on the Right of the screen. The picture is very big but controlls for adjustmant are only partially visible?

I know I have lots of reading yet but can someone get me started in the Raw Processing.

The Camera Raw Interface Box is what will not completely open. It shows the Left side where the picture is but on the Right hand side where the controls are it is cut right in half???? Anyone have a fix for this, I tried restarting pc etc.

Do you mean cut in half or is the window cut in half because it is hanging off the side of the screen ?

Have you tried resizing the window ? Also, what screen resolution are you running at ?

If you can, post a screen shot. Do this by making sure the RAW window has focus and then (assuming on a PC) pressing the Print Screen key. Paste into your paint package of choice and then save out as a JPEG. Post it and I'll take a look.

This might be rather obvious but I'll ask anyway...have you tried extending the right edge of the window?

Yes, I have about broke my mouse I have tried so hard.

Some quick questions that I would have are, what is your screen resolution set to. Have you tried double clikcing in the title bar at the top of the screen.

I'm assuming that you can see the scroll bars when you move to the right or the left.

Well that looks like a pretty big software bug to me.... :(

For the hell of it,. try setting your screen to a different resolution...

also,. are you running a custom windows font size? It's been a while since I have seen this problem. I used to get anomalies like this when i ran custom system fonts in Win95... some software just could not scale,. and thus menus,. and print were not visible at all.

You could try and reinstall PS but be aware of the possible registration issues.. I would call adobe before doing that.

Lastly,... are you actually running the full registered version of PSCS?

Or are you running the Beta release that was in circulation... :wink:

it was the screen resolution, Now I need a new monitor, hard to see these screens now that I adjusted resolution

Ah, thoguht it might be screen res. The RAW converter actually has a minimum window size. I'm guessing you came up on this and the controls were the part of the window that "got it". :)
