Dolls

While I'm waiting on the new DSLR to ship, I thought I'd dig up some photos taken with my A75. While I'm still more trial and error than anything for settings (I actually find myself more comfortable w/ an SLR than the P&S), I would like opinion on some of my favorites.

These are ball jointed dolls. I think this is the best spot for these...

They're made of resin, highly posable and customizable, fairly realistic, and one of my biggest hobbies next to photography. I have several sizes (heights listed to give an idea of scale), and genders, fyi, so each is a different model pictured below. Naturally, they make a most willing subject, so I spend a lot of time with them.

These are shot with a $2 Home Depot clamp light, with Reveal bulbs. I have 3 set up at varying heights and watts.

This is Roan, he stands 58cm. I wanted a dramatic shot, and pointed a single lamp straight up at his chest. His chin is a little blown out, since I have no diffusers or reflectors. But I like the feel.
