10D Firmware update

i seem to be having a connectivity problem in downloading/uploading the new 2.0 firmware for my 10D. :(

any experiences yet??

I just did mine. I resisted doing the last 2 upgrades cuz I couldnt stand the thought of blowing it.
What I did notice was that after uploading to my CF card thru the camera was it would not auto start when turning off and on. I had to turn it on and open and close the CF door then it started.

I used a CF card freshly formatted in the camera and then took the card out of the camera and copied only the necessary .FIR file to the CF card using a CF card reader. Then put the CF card into the camera and turn it on. The camera should recognize the update and ask if you want to update your firmware. I've done all three updates that way with no problems.
