Looks really cool! I like colored lights better, but the first one looks great in B&W. The 4th one is really nice too.

For the first, I wish they were those rainbow coloured lights. Then if you had slowed the shutter speed and let in the colours, that would have looked amazing.

Nice set, my fave is the last.

Like the first two, 3rd looks a little flat IMO. Not going to rate the last because IMO I don't think it's wise to wrap a child (or adult for that matter) in electric lights.

I knew I'd get that comment from at least one person.
They're low voltage (Under 12v) and obviously under the supervision of an adult. And, I wouldn't say "wrapped" as much as loosely lain...
But whatever, you're entitle to you opinion.

I guess I need to add a disclaimer to my photography for the sensitive type.

Note* No children (Or X-mas Lights) were injured during the making of these films. ;)

Great photos, I like the I idea of wraping someone in lights I guess I am gonna try it sometime, I am diying to know the exif of the last shot!))

Thanks Marten,

The Exif information gets stripped when doing a "save for web"...
I'll post it when I get home.

I was doing long exposures. Getting an 8 year old to sit still for 8-10 sec. is a challange all in itself. :)

))That's exactly why I wanted to know the exif, i just can't belive that you got kid standing motionless for 8 secs))

Aww.. So sorry Martin.. I totally forgot once I got home. (Funny how the brains shuts down after work :) )

I do it as soon as I get hope

I know I shot about 20 shots of this (Some were slightly different poses)
And one got 3 that were any good. This was the best of the 3 (composition wise)... Even this one is a "little" soft because of slight motion.

Tv- 1sec.
Av- f/8
Iso - 100
Focal Length - 10mm

So not too bad on the shutter time.

I'm going to play tonight and see if I can get my wife to do an artistic nude using the lights. Even if the shots suck, should still be fun. ;)
