It is my first sighting of a Hudsonian Godwit and it is not common to my region but does occur during spring and fall migration from time to time. It was around 6:15 pm cloudy and dark, the bird was quite a ways away and due to the natural of the terrain impossible to get closer. Breeds in scattered locations in the coastal Arctic, from western Alaska to the shore of Hudson Bay in northern Manitoba and Ontario.
