Ok so i know i've asked questions when i first got my camera a week ago...and since then i've looked at my manual i've searched google looked at other ppl's pictures and tried their settings.......But there is absolutely no DOF showing up in my pictures no matter what mode i use or what F/Stop......What am i doing wrong?

No DOF implies everything except at a single distance from the lens is out of focus. Is that what you mean or is everything in focus?

Could you post some pictures with your settings? Once we see them then maybe we could offer some good suggestions.

Depth of field on a short focal length lens as the S2 has will be very deep (everything will be pretty much in focus). Is that what you mean? If you want a shallow DoF, you'll need to work at the longer focal lengths your camera offers, with a subject close to the camera , at widest possible aperture, and with as much separation between your subject and the background as you can manage.
