Best 10D price in Canada?

Any fellow Canadians know where the best deal can be had on a 10D? Also does anyone anticipate a significant drop in 10D price after PMA? Best deal I have found for 10D so far is 1900 Can.

I just bought a 300D from www.simonscameras.com in Montreal.
I did ALOT of research before buying and they definately had the lowest price, and free shipping.
In addition, their service is top notch! They've been in business since 1930.

I thought my camera had a hot pixel, and they offered to cross ship me a new one, and pay for shipping BOTH WAYS! I was totally impressed.
In addition, I've heard alot of positive feedback from others about them.

They have the 10D for $2079, but are temporarily out of stock.

Where did you find one for that cheap?!

I just took a quick look at ECost (http://www.ecost.com), and they are only asking for US$1449 on the 10D. Convert that into Canadian, and that's about Cdn$1900.

The thing with ECost is that they have a deal with Canada Post, and through their Borderfree service, your merchandise will be charged to a Canadian credit card in Canadian funds. Whatever taxes, duties, S&H costs there are will already be shown to you at the time of purchase (again in Canadian dollars).

I believe that L. Lozeau in Montreal is at $1990 for the 10D. They had stock yesterday.

If you are willing to make the effort you can order from the states cross the border have your camera shipped to a bed and breakfast. companies are reluctant to ship to hotels. lets say you order it from New York state and pick it up in Vermont acorss the border you also do not pay state taxes.
The money you save on shipping and taxes pays for your accommodation and meals and gas.
