We have four adult Bald Eagles that seem to scrap with each other and we also have several juvies around as well but dang are they hard to get close to.Of course when you don't have the camera they fly right over the house as if to mock me. Going to have to get a pop up blind I guess as this is the best I have gotten of an Eagle so far. Thanks for looking. Santa, if you are looking, I want a pop up blind or long glass please:lol:. Oh and as for the seaweed in its talons, he was saitting on the shore eating something, when I spooked him he just grabbed a clawfull of everything.

Wow, sounds like you have a golden opportunity to get close to these guys. I read somewhere though if you spoke them to much they will move. Good luck with your venture and be sure to post some pics :)

Very nice in-flight capture Trevor. I know the feeling about those missed opportunities as it happened to me last week as I was heading out to work. A Baldie flew very low overhead I can hear that whoozz flap of the wings...but darn...didn't have my gear on hand.

Great picture!! The wing position is really cool, and I like the crop with the tree included as well. :)

Excellent capture Trevor. The Golden Eagle is indeed a majestic bird in-flight or perched atop a tree.

Great job wth the baldy! I went to track some fly bys with the intent on geting them with some tree tops, no luck for me today...You scored a nice one in this shot. Looks like you will have more opportunities with them. Keep em coming!
