I shot this earlier in the summer on a Nikon FE. Push processed the film, for a bit of a grainy look and the vignette is a result of that as well. I over looked this image, but I decided that I really liked it. Loaded it into photoshop for some sharpening and quadtoned it. Okay! Let me know what you think. It's one of my favorite shots from 2006.

My take, probably went a bit far with the vignette.

Thanks for commenting Tim. As I mentioned the vignette was out of camera, not completely intentional. I was a result of shooting 400ISO film at 1600ISO and having it push processed. I agree, in this case it is a touch strong for my liking as well. Hmmm I wonder if the lens correction filter in PS will let me take some of the vignette out?

Actually thinking about it.... I think this may have been a roll that I didn't push process, just shot it at 400ASA. I don't have my notes in front of me to reference..... In that case I don't know where the vignette came from. I had the images scanned when the negs were developed. I'll have to go back to the original negs to see whether the vignette is there, or if it happened during the scanning process.

If it's out of camera, then I don't really have an explaination for it anymore.....
