Tarn Hows, slightly North of Coniston Water in the English Lake District. This is a Westward view looking towards Long Crag and the Coniston Fells.

Nice one David, and the panoramic crop suits the composition. Was this taken from the same soaking as Cameron was muttering about?

Yes, this works well, a comfortable feel to the image, although not sure the frame should be as wide?

We all managed a few shots but I can't match this one.
You always seem to be able to pull the shot off, even in the worst of circumstamces. :?
Lovely image and the pano crop works well.

I see you too have managed to get something out of a rotten morning:confused:
Nice shot David, it has certainly made the best of some poor conditions.

Thanks Les, no matter if it were a graphic, artwork or a painting which I was presenting I'd still use the same format & thickness for the frame/matte as it holds the presented image better and gives the eye room to manoeuvre without distraction.

Thanks Cameron, I don't think I could go wrong in the Lakes...it's a photographers paradise in any weather!

Thanks Robert, It's the enhancements in PS that has helped make the shot...but you knew that already...didn't you?:D ;)

I really like the composition in this. The shape of the fir and its position is spot on. Nice one 'OB' and as 'OB Jnr' said, well suited to the panoramic format. :D
