It is outdated for the mainstream digital market. Only Canon makes a few full frame digital SLRs for a small niche market. There is no indication that full frame will ever gain a dominant market position.

If you read the link, he clearly states that all predictions are baloney and I believe that his excessive predictions are intended to illustrate that.
