50mm f1.8 drop on tarmac

Hi guyz,

just dropped my 50mm f.1.8 on the tarmac. the lens become two part now, but nothing really broke except the ribbon cable. Any idea how to fix it back? what should i do? Sell to somewhere or get a new one? i only hav an alternate kit lens now

Just buy a new one ($70.) and be more careful next time. It just doesn't pay to try to fix it.

Agreed. It'd cost you just as much to have it professionally repaired. That's one of the many up-sides to this lens :)
