Anthony,
What conversion method are you using? I'm asking this because it seems very contrasty (missing tonal range). I think you could easily turn this nice scene into a great b/w by using different C.M. settings, maybe one for the sky and one for the foliage. This is one I often use that is nicely balanced for landscapes.
Chanel Mixer monochrome: Red +15, Green +85, Blue -5, Constant +5

Thanks AV, I used opposite green and red channels to you. I've been using Scott Kelby's settings from his book but I probably haven't paid enough attention to adapting to particular shots. Your settings make an obvious difference here. This is a print which didn't scan well as I'd liked which I've been tinkering with. Thanks for your help.
