Well, this was my first try at this how did I do? I use one of the sites that PhotosGuy, posted and found this well it was were he put woman in jar, I thought it was pretty neat. I've learned a little more already well, as far as using some tools in PS.
Thanks PhotosGuy,

Well, as far as the composition goes, it's almost deceiving. Although I'd say that if the child is supposed to be behind the glass, it should have some glimmer on its face (and it doesn't) - it probably should have some reflex maybe alfa blend some of the original glass a bit more?

As far as the theme... well, can't say I like it. It reminds me too much of a hoax that floated around the net, about kitten in a jar. Maybe if the child exhibited a smile it would have a different effect, but as soon as I looked upon it, I felt kinda pitty for the little girl - it almost seems as if she's really in there, uterly bored.

So to an extent, I'd say you were successful. ;)

Just my 2 cents, cheers.

I am not a expert by any means but I like it. It is different and I would like to know how to do something similar. Now I am not a B&W person so could that have been in color? Would that have made it better? I don't know. I agree with another poster a smile would have made it better.

JZaun,

Glad you liked it, I just grab the first picture I seen to see if I could do this really didn't even think of grabbing one to where she had smile on face but now that I kind of got a hang of it. I will try it again with another photo. But anyway here is the link I used, to do it. It's a link that PhotosGuy, sent me. There is some pretty interesting stuff there.
Give it a try and post the results here for us to see would love to see one that someone else did. And yes I think that color will work it's just the B&W picture is the first I grab, LOL.... The guy in the article use a jar, that was pretty neat I will have to try that next, at the time that's the only thing I could find well matter of fact it was sitting on my desk. So I just shot the pic, of the bottle it was the closest thing to me LOL. Like I said I really didn't spend any time on it I was just seeing how it would turn out.
maybe my second one will turn out better.

Hug's Gail,

Gail,

I think that there has been some misunderstanding. Are you saying that you "used to use this site?" or "this is the site I used." I want to learn how to edit pictures like you, but I can't figure out what you're trying to tell us.

Gail,

Apparently you are very proficient with Photoshop. This is one of your best posts yet, even though I have to admit that I have had nightmares about it for days.
