Problem with telephoto lens on A70

Hi,

I bought a 3rd party telephoto lens (2.5 x) for my Canon A70 and am having trouble with the autofocus of the camera. Without the lens, the autofocus is working OK, but with it, the images on long distances are really blurry.
Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a solution for it?

i find that at 3x or more on my 70 that i just about get an out of focus (fuzzy)everytime i don't use a tripod or keeping it very still. i would recommend you use a tripod and see a great improvement on your photos also when you use the lcd you get a lot of out of focus shots because you don't have the support for the camera at hand held.

If you are getting the green focus lock, then it is camera shake, so use Tv setting of 1/500 or more.

If you are not getting the green focus lock, try using the ‘Landscape’
setting.
