Very nice, you are so lucky to get a shot of one in good light and fairly close. Such a great owl to watch.

Very nice aflues; good looking pose & background.
We have tried the last view visits to Amherst Island (Ontario) to find these owls, as they are reported to be there; but have come away empty thus far..Thanks for the motivational image.

Hey, nice shot of this owl. There are some blown whites but still a good catch.

Haven't looked for them the last few trips but they have been seen in the past flying along the fields on the KFN property in the late afternoons. http://www.pbase.com/golfpic/image/41290841

The whites are a tad warm and the eyes seem a tad soft on my monitor but overall I like the image for the subject, perch, composition and light. A fine looking image of this Owl and one that i have on my short list .....to see and to photograph.
