Not bad at all IMO, although you seem to be repeating the same "theme" in pics 1, 3 and 4. As far as what I like best, it would be pic number 1 :)

Unique gown--I've seen the posing style in 1,3,4 in quite a few portfolios. I'm not really a fan. Just shows disconnection between the couple in my opinion, which obviously is not a good theme on your wedding day. 2 is cute and I like the locations you shot at!

The lighting seems a little harsh - very flat white.. to me it doesnt portray romance and love as a wedding probably should.... nice effort though

They don't really work as wedding photos IMO.

And as for the lighting, i agree, it's a bit harsh, even with a Lumiquest softbox, It was either get the light in there, or none at all. It was already getting pretty dark towards 5pm so was pretty much S.O.L.

No. 1 is awsome. The important question is, does the couple like them?

I like the first one it's a nice idea and the PP works well. Unfortunately all the others seem to be way soft, you are going to need to get yourself some good glass to take it to the next level.

I would also go Jason in saying don't overdo a theme.

I can't see the 2nd one, but I agree about a theme overdone. I think it could work for 1 pic, but not a whole series (as wedding photos). The light is good in the first, the third is too flash-y, and the forth is a bit dark and flat. That being said, I think you really captured her beauty in the 1st and 4th. The pic you posted separately is cute, it might be a bit dark, though, but that's easily fixed. Thanks for sharing! :)

Your images are too large, please delete them and repost at 800 pixels wide or less. I can't see your whole image on one screen. See image posting guidelines (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=188522). If you don't a mod will likely remove them.

I did not like them; the reasons: the posing is not my style; there is too much flash in all of them, the color and contrast are not there; the backgrounds simply suck. For me, the wedding pictures should be dreamy and fun and vibrant and eye catching and romantic, which I believe none of these are. Sorry I had to say all negative things but I am trying to be honest, which you need I guess. Thanks for sharing.

They all seem a very soft. I like the idea of the posing here, but not the way it was done in these shots. I think they would have been much more successful poses had you set it up so that they were looking towards each other and not away. These are a little stand off-ish.

no offense, but I'm not a fan of them. They look like the same pose, which does not show love or a connection. On the ring shots, the flash has created a couple of hot spots on the hands. But what matters is does the couple like them?

Interesting idea and I've seen others post similar... Not sure about all that space in between the couple. Could you post some more of that day? Possibly when they look a little closer?
