Toronto Supercross

Hi guys, here are a few shots from the AMA Supercross held in Toronto on the weekend. CC are welcome I'm experimenting with my monitor brightness so some feedback would be welcome. ...... It seems the file sizes are being reduced while uploading to the server any ideas why?

oooooo I wanted to go to that so bad. How was it? Who won? Great pictures. Turned out very nice for being a indoor poor light event. Its hard to shoot fast sports in that lighting I find.

Thanks, the lighting was hard to work with that is for sure. I used a 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 IS most of my shots were at 4.6 ISO 800 ss 200. I had to lighten them up quite a bit in PS.

The night was great! Reed took the night, Way got the holeshot, and Carmichael took over but crashed on the second lap and moved back to 17th. For most of the race Reed and Stewart traded 1st and 2nd until Stewart crashed and then upon rentering the track colided with Travis Preston. Stewart was then obviously hurt and alowed Carmichael to overtake him. The podium was Stewart 3rd, Carmichael 2nd and Reed 1st (the only one of the three not to crash). The real drama occured after the race, after Stewart crossed the finish line he some how ended up on the ground rolling around in pain, then Preston walks over to him and grabs his helmet, says something to him and shoves his head to the ground, then walks away.... I have not read anything to explain what happened but if anyone has any more info I'd like to hear. On a side note Tedesco is out with a broken hand apperantly suffered by Stewart in practice. Tedesco was not impressed with the way Stewart was riding and implyed that he was driving recklessly in an interview given in an intermission.

Nice, I love the supercross. Such tight action! Looks like you had a great night. I like how you got all thoes shots were Reed and RC are so close together. Im not sure about the drama at the end of the race either. Ill look into that! I like the pictures!
