Has anyone heard if the new RAW conversion software that Canon has for the Mark II will be a) free and b) compatable with the 10D?

This was on another forum.

"We'll encourage EOS-1Ds, EOS-1D and EOS-1D Mark II owners to try dpp when it is released, but our position on PhaseOne software will remain the same. That is, we (Canon USA) have never officially endorsed PhaseOne's software but we continue to respect its quality and have no problem recommending it to our customers. As always, our customers will let us know which brands of RAW conversion software they prefer. "

I like Canon's way of saying,...

"yeah yeah,. we know our software blows chunks... so go buy C1 and leave us alone allready... "

Or we could switch to N****n... and have really spiffy software,. but lame cameras.... :?
