View Full Version : Transcend 2.2gb MicroDrive - any opinions on this gear?

I see they are being sold rather cheap so I was thinking about getting one. They are priced about the same as MagicStor, which many of you have have said is total crap. I thought that maybe it was the same OEM as MagicStor since the pricing is nearly identical, but I'm not sure.

Any input on this card would be a real help. Thanks.

Really,. I was not the only memeber of this forum that gave it a try,. indeed it was priced so sweetly,. how could we not ?

Well,. they were a complete failure.. there is a two or three page thread somewhere in the archives... luckily we all got our money back.. but really

OH,. P.S. we all got the "Magic Stor" brand, but as you surmise,. the Transcend IS the same drive... :x

Thanks! I did a search on the term "transcend" but all I saw was comments about their CF cards.
