Some bridal shots with a couple unafraid of the elements.
Some of these are lit with a 580EX on an umbrella stand.

First 3 were with the 50mm f/1.4, the last 2 with the Tamron 28-75 ... two and 3 were lit with umbrella.
The last one is cool because the sun was RIGHT on the horizon, so it was REALLY orange and when I did the WB picker to her white dress, it made the water really blue.
Thank you Mother Nature!

Terrible, as usual! Haha They're great! Great colors, light, DOF, composition, sharpness... What a great opportunity w/such a willing couple. They look like naturals, or you made them look that way. Doesn't happen very often. One thing, I flipped my laptop upside down, and I think #4 looks better upside down. Thanks for sharing! :)

The couple looked familiar so I went on to your website. Are they Lisa and Joel from your featured weddings?

Yep ... she knows she looks like Nina ... that B1TC4!!!!
Light setup was a 580EX with umbrella, tripped with an ST-E2 Transmitter ... umbrella we pretty close and about a foot above her head.

Incredible wave action.... and the detail in the sand, I can almost taste the grit... and that rock texture, just EXTRAORDINARY! I've never seen such vibrant blue green water like that!! .......... I suppose the bride looks sorta' ok....
Just kidding of course - this is a wonderful series of very unique and truly different shots. You must be a fan of "From Here to Eternity" ? Oooops, now I'm really dating myself. - Stu

very very cool.. now, fess up... this was after the wedding right?... But I think those are totally worth the dry cleaning bill.. besides, a woman only wears the dress once but the photos get looked at forever... great priorities with that couple..
