Ive been looking for a cheap 8 foot or higher stand that doesnt need to be strong because it will only be holding a small flash. I cant seem to find one for less than $50 and thats just too much for me to spend atm.
If you happen to know of any deals especially on b&h that would be great.

I just got a pair of these. They are excellent, strong and sturdy. 9.5 feet, can hold up to 22 lbs and air cushioned. They were recommended to me and I highly recommend them.

How much weight will you hang on them?
How portable to they need to be?
There are light duty models for half that price that may fit your needs better.

You won't be disappointed. I'm really glad I got the air cushioned stands. At first I didn't see why I would want them but once you have them you quickly realize what a great idea it is.

I should have stated that the stands I got were not purchased with weight or portability in mind. I knew they would only be used in my studio.

Well i dont really need them to be as strong as the one i liked above, but i would like it to be from B&H. So if anyone has any links, to B&H would you post them.

I just took a look and form what I can see the only less expensive stand BH has is and 8 foot stand for a few bucks less than the one I showed you above. I'm sure there's a lot on ebay, although I have not looked. If you are willing to buy from someplace other than BH you can take a look at something like this.
It's a 7 foot stand and not air cushioned but it may do fine for you.

You can find many general purpose stands for about $25 but consider the weight of the strobe or accessories that will be on that stand. If you are using large umbrellas or softboxes I'm not sure that a general purpose stand is the right choice.
Others with more experience than I could probably help with that.
