1st pic with extension tubes

Hi,

I've been out today with a newly aquired set of extension tubes together with my 10D and bunch of lenses. The wind was a little brisk so long exposures were out but I did manage to catch this picture of a crocus while the wind was reasonably still and would appreciate some feedback from you guys.

Nice shot. Maybe a little cropping on the left and right, maybe even crop so the edges of the flower are beyond the border of the image.

Nice flower picture. I would like to see it with the background blurred. but what do I know!ha

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried cropping left and right but it doesn't look right as the flower head isn't symetrical about the centre ifyou know what I mean.

I agree that blurring the background would have been better. I'll have another go today if I get time.
