This was really easy to be honest.
It's a software package with viewing options.

Our company owns an own server (PIV 2.8HT 1GB 120GB) it's collocated by our provider straight on the backbone, so I had "some" space left ;D, the software itself is free, and is installed in arround 10 minutes.
You need MySQL (free) and PHP on your server.
Talk with your provider if it's possible on your site, the only limiting factor is diskspace in most cases.

I went to the coppermine website and can't figure anything out. I am just getting my business going and doing pretty good by word of mouth, but that isn't enough. I need to setup a website and what you have done is excellent. Please, if you can give more info on what to download and how to install it it would be good. Thanks...Dean

Hi,
Go to latest downloads and download the latest full version.
Ask your provider to install the other software like MySQL and PHP and it should work without a glitch.
DO ask the passward for your database, most good providers will even help with setting up for you it only takes them arround 2-3 minutes. Making the site itself is also 10-15 minutes time ;D

The provider which provides you with the webspace not the dialup provider perse.
Because you need the stuff on your own webspace.

Frank,
Congratulations on building your own site. It takes a lot of work doesn't it?
Re: suggestions
Take coppermine's Rainy Day theme and incorporate it into your other pages. It's a great looking theme and your site would have a branded or smoother flowing look. Try to use div's rather than frames for your main page and it will work better with the R-D theme. Just a small suggestion but it does involve more work. :(
For people interested in Coppermine, I can provide hosting space, ability to run most php and perl scripts, plus a personalized domain. The cost would depend on storage and bandwidth, but generally be more than a straight pbase album account.
If I didn't have my own server, and just wanted to post pictures, I would seriously consider renting space at pbase. Hopefully pBase can keep their servers up to date, stable, and fast enough to handle their growth rate.

I will play a bit more with the index page this is just a plain copy from the old site.
I was doubting between the Rainy day and this one, I LOVED this one for the easy to use buttons.

The site is good with some great photos.
My only complaint is no captions, especially the "News" photos. It looks like something interesting going on, but I haven't a clue what it is.
I always like the "Back story" of a photo, where and when it was taken, etc...
