Adobe Premiere Pro

I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, but i am making a photo slideshow with it, and i have a question regarding the software. My question is about title slides. How can i create on that has a transition coming in, during the middle, and towards the end of it. For example, it flys in from the right, waves a little bit, then zooms out. If not in Premiere Pro, is there another software that i could make one in there and transfer it into the software?

Go to File and go to New Title, create your slide and save it as "Opening Title".
Drag it down to the timeline from the bin, and place it where you need it.
You can add a motion effect to it, you have to find out where the "Motion" dialog window is since I have not used the newer Premiere's yet, still using 6.5 since I like the interface better.
Once in the motion area, you can add key-frames to control where the slide comes in, stops, waves, and then leaves.

There are some effects plug-ins that make what you want to do in a simple couple of clicks.

another option is to use that same slide 3 times in a row, first one will be the move in, second one will be it waving, and the 3rd will be it leaving.
Only thing is, for the second one to look seamless, you will have to control the wave to start and stop at the beginning and end so that you don't see any glitches from a slide that has a ripple (your wave) and the slides that aren't rippling.

mknabster - I've been thinking of using Premier to make slideshows - how do you find it?

We use Premiere to do slideshows all the time, but it is a little more time consuming than say Pro Show Gold, but you have a lot more control with premiere, especially with the audio.
With Premiere you can have multi layered effects with more than 2 images on the screen, it's comparable to Pro Show Producer, which I never used but have seen demo shows made with it.

Also, with Premiere, you will have to render the project into a movie.
