Aperture or Shutter priority...

...or completely manual? Recently decided to go for it and purchased the G2. I'm not too comfortable operating the thing in manual mode, but at the same time, I've decided to avoid using it in -no, don't say it- auto mode. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Algee, I see you are new to this board. You will get a lot more responses if you post your question in the G2 forum. This forum is for questions/comments, etc about the forums themselves...

Learn manual first. Then you'll know when to use aperture or shutter priority or just automatic. And best of all, you'll know how.
