These are just quick pics I shot while heading home tonite. I guess they came out ok. I want some comments on them, I know they aren't really good, but do you think are the subjects even picture worthy?

And the last picture, I always wanted to take a picture from that place :)

FS - you already know the limitations of the shots so no harm in saying none of them leap out at me. Of the three I like the third one the best. The angle of the lines the turned over snow and maybe, just maybe that big ol' Canon thing going on!

The city scape is next for me but I think a tighter crop. The trees frame the tower block but don't really add anything else to the photograph. Perhaps a solitary figure walking through the scene might have added. If it's a long shutter speed then possibly all the better with a blurred figure leaving the focus on the tower block.... I'm rambling.

The last picture of the house but probably only of real value to the owner of the house (is that you? - smart place). As for it I think there's a bit much foreground. Having said that the house has a quaint look and maybe a tighter crop would help.

Perhaps they don't jump out at me, but I do think the first two convey the feeling of quiet solitude on the night of a freshly fallen snow. I can almost hear the crackling of snow under your footprints.

And shot #3 is just one of those shots that could probably be taken 100 times and not get the lighting perfect (until you shot at different exposures and combined the pictures with layers)

I like the last one, mainly because I don't see any security guards outside.

I hate winter, at least as far as shooting is involved.
