I can't figure out how to work it. It will not let me log in with my current username and password

The username to access the site is stated in the How to Test section and the password is in the Gotchas. Once on the beta site though, you need to set up a new account (don't worry - it's free and temporary).

I had the passwords to get to the beta thing, but I didn't realize you had to start a new fake account... i will have to try that out when I have alot of free time. I use smugmug so i am very interested in the differences.

Im am about to purchase a power user account from Smugmug. Should I wait until the new release comes out? Or will the current users be upgraded automatically?

Yes but you don't have to do that to view a lot of the changes, just go and look around one of the existing galleries. Looks a lot cleaner to me

It's a host site upgrade so everyone gets the same UI. But wait a while, there may be some news in the offing for POTN users ;)

Right. You only have to do it if you want to try the changes out for yourself.

I've tried it and can't wait for it to be implemented. Easier and faster browsing, keyboard shortcuts, and a cleaner look. I also have a Zenfolio account that I liked for the ease of browsing. With the new SmugMug I'll be able to cancel Zenfolio after my year is up.:D
