After I saw mahanee's post of his first reverse lens macro shot of the fly I was so amazed that I went an picked up all the needed parts to have a setup like his. Here is one shot while I'm just experimenting stuff with this setup.

My setup for this shot was ;

Canon G2
LA-DC58 Lens Adapter
52mm and 58mm adaptor rings.
Canon FD 50mm 1:1.8 Lens

I'm hoping to get a FD 1.2 or atleast a FD 1.4 Lens very soon, I read it somewhere that there was a big diffrence between the 1.8 and the 1.4 so I'm aming to get the 1.2.

Comments are welcome.

Pretty cool!

I've been tempted to try that myself, but I don't have an SLR lens, plus I already have a 49mm +10 diopter for my G2... so my wife would kick my butt if I bought an SLR lens... not owning an SLR :shock: :lol:

Look forward to more shots!

I recently bought a Minolta 1.4 lens off of ebay for $15. The 49mm converter lens was 7.95 + 4 in shipping from B&H. So for about 30 bucks you can get started. I'm waiting now for the converter to arrive.
