Just received my flash bracket and am very pleased of the decision I made. Feels good on the camera and use is very easy. I didn't get the twist plate, which I see is something I do need and will get. One thing I find is that it is a little cumbersome to mount onto camera. Is there a simple method that makes this process easier? I guess practice will make it better.

Stoboframe makes a slim quick release plate, works like a dream very quick and easy to mount and dismount the camera.

I second the above recommendation for the Stroboframe quick release kit. :)

Is this the part you are referring to?

This looks like it would do the trick. May have to invest in one of these.
