One of my early shots, taken at the begining of this year. I think this is the second time I had worked in a studio the light was rigged up with my input. Feel free to comment/criticise it!

You have a good amount of contrast. Take out the 2nd catchlight in her right eye. (Our left)
The biggest problem is a lack of shadows. Was this to be a model series or a portrait ? If a model series, you should have used butterfly lighting. With her slim face, if it was for a portrait, I would have used a loop lighting or a modified loop. And, given the arm up like that, her head totally straight doesn't work. I would have tilted her head to her left. (Our right) That would have given a diagonal feel to the image. Finally, her hair is a free and easy hairstyle I realize. However, if more hair had been showing on her right (our left) it would have felt more symetrical.
Hope I've helped.

Aye it is, as to the lighting info you have given that's particulary important to me as I have to learn how to light subjects. Whilst I know about butterfly lighting I've never heard of loop lighting. Something to research!
This shot was mostly a grab shot whilst playing with the wind machine. Unfortunately many of the shots came out under-exposed despite trying to figure out why on the day (and with a light meter and another camera with the same settings).
Thanks for the advice.
